Job summary

RDR Utility Services Group is seeking Pipeline Laborers to support our Piping and Mechanical team. The role includes reading meters and gauges, recording temperatures, and adjusting controls to maintain equipment within required ranges.

Applicants must be 18+, able to work safely on a construction site, lift up to 75 lbs, and collaborate effectively in a team. EOE/Veterans/Minorities/Women/Disabled/Military Friendly Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to work safely in a construction environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. bend, stoop, kneel and climb.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Read meters, gauges, or automatic recording devices on specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
• Record temperature of equipment, hours of operation, fuel consumed, temperature or pressure, liquid levels, etc.
• Adjusts manual controls or automated set points to keep equipment in ranges, switch to backup equipment or systems, or shut down equipment.
• Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, repacking bearings, replacing packing glands, gaskets, valves, recorders, and gauges, and cleaning or replacing burners or other components.
• Load and unload equipment and materials from Trucks and Trailers with the use of proper rigging tools and lifting techniques
