Job summary

Imperial Dade is seeking a Yard Jockey in City of Industry, CA. The role involves driving 26' bobtails, moving trucks to docks and performing basic fleet tasks. Schedule is Sunday to Thursday, about 10 hours per day, with a pay rate of $21.00/hour.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class C, clean MVR, and 1+ year of recent delivery experience. Lifting 50+ pounds and outdoor work are expected. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent Class C delivery driver experience.
• Route delivery experience is a plus.
• Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience is a plus.
• Lift gate experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on premises, from 26' bobtails.
• Transport empty trucks and loaded trucks.
• Inspect vehicles before and after moving.
• Report damage to vehicles or equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed.
• Pick up and drop off trucks from vendors.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure timely deliveries.

Imperial Dade has a Yard Jockey role available in City of Industry, CA! Join a strong and continuously evolving Transportation team helping to continue to grow our business. If you’re eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.

The Yard Jockey drives box trucks from parking spaces to docks and docks to parking spaces.

The schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 6:00 PM until finished. An average workday is 10 hours.

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

$1500 Sign On Bonus After 90 days

You will:
