Job summary

Imperial Dade in Stockton, CA is hiring a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to support daily route deliveries and exceptional customer service. The driver will unload with hand tools and pallet jack, and ensure accurate logs while maintaining a safe vehicle.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or until finished, with emphasis on safety and reliable, friendly customer interactions during deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• DOT medical exam clearance required.
• Good driving record.
• At least 1 year of route delivery experience.
• At least 1 year of manual pallet jack/hand truck use.
• Lift gate operation experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck (26,000 GVW).
• Load and unload cargo using hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Maintain and document the activity log.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.

The Non-CDL Delivery Driverwill be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5:00 am-1:30 pm or until finished.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
