Job summary

Imperial Dade in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Dual-Role Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate. This day shift position (Mon-Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm) offers a collaborative team environment where you will deliver items and support warehouse operations, from receiving to stocking.

Responsibilities include assisting customers at showroom counter, operating a 26' box truck, using pallet jack and forklift, inspecting vehicle, and documenting activity.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of delivery driving experience with valid license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience and familiarity with pallet jacks/forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Work at showroom counter to assist customers as needed.
• Assist in stocking and organizing inventory in designated areas.
• Safely operate a 26' box truck with air brakes.
• Track and document activity in logs and reports.
• Report issues to dispatch and inspect truck before/after trips.
• Review incoming orders and locate materials in warehouse.
• Place materials on order picker, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Deliver items to loading area and unload trucks.

The Dual-Driver/Warehouse Associate will focus on route delivery and warehouse assistance in our collaborative team-based environment.

This is a day shift position, and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm with overtime when needed.

You will:

• Work at our showroom counter to assist customers as needed
• Assist in putting away proper inventory in designated areas
• Safely operate a 26' box truck with air brakes
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Review incoming material orders/pick tickets
• Locate materials on shelves in the warehouse
• Place materials on an order picker, pallet jack, or forklift
• Deliver items to the loading area
• Unload trucks
• Stocking shelves

You have:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
• 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• 1 year minimum of warehouse experience
• 1 year minimum of electric pallet jack experience
• 1 year of lift gate experience
• Forklift/Order Picker experience is a plus
