Job summary

Farmland Fresh Dairies, LLC. is seeking a Yard Jockey to move 48ft tractor trailers and 28ft straight trucks within the yard and to docks using a yard horse in Newark, New Jersey. The role requires CDL A and at least one year of Yard Jockey or Switcher experience.

Overtime, weekend and holiday work, and multiple start times are required. Compensation starts at $31.50 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and life insurance, plus paid time off for vacation, sick

• At least 1 year of experience as Yard Jockey or Switcher with CDL A.

Responsibilities

• Move 48ft tractor trailers and 28ft straight trucks within the yard and to docks using a yard horse.
• Operate yard equipment safely and efficiently.
• Overtime hours, weekends and holidays, and varied start times are required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a yard switching position moving 48ft tractor trailers and 28ft straight trucks throughout the yard and to docks using a yard horse. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various start times are required in order to successfully meet the business needs.

• CDL CLASS A REQUIRED****
• CDL A: $31.50/hr. (1 years' experience as a Yard Jockey or Switcher with the CDL A required)

Shift

• 1am-9am
• Every Saturday and Sunday Required
