NK Parts Industries, Inc. is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Yard Jockey to manage yard operations onsite in Ohio. The role involves fast-paced trailer movements, backing trailers, and coordinating with receiving areas to ensure smooth dock operations.

Responsibilities include dropping and spotting trailers, operating the yard truck for deliveries and relocations, and maneuvering trailers in tight spaces. Benefits are offered and the work requires adherence to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years yard driver experience is required.
• Applicant must be 18 years or older to apply.

FULL TIME 2nd SHIFT YARD JOCKEY

$2.30 Shift Diff pay for 2nd and 3rd Shifts.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to help maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere. Everyone works as one team!

Responsibilities

• Fast paced
• Must have tractor trailer and backing experience
• Must be able to back trailers in and out of receiving areas
• Must be able to drop and spot trailers
• Operate yard truck for delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials
• Maneuvers trailers in and around tight corners
• Must be able to position a trailer in the dock, assuring obstacle clearance, open/secure trailer doors
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Yard Driver Experience: 2 years (Required)
• Applicant must be 18 years or older to apply

Physical Requirements

• The associate is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and feet to handle items and or feel.
• Reach with hands, arms, feet and legs.
• The associate may frequently need to stoop, kneel or crouch.
• The associate may regularly lift and or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally move 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
