Qualifications

• CDL Class A with a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

Job description:Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated CDL Class A / Yard Switcher to join our transportation and logistics team. This role involves operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks within a yard environment to efficiently load, unload, and position freight for delivery or further transport.Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in yard and route driving environmentsLoad and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucksSwitch trailers between dock doors and yard locations to facilitate efficient freight handlingDrive refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulationsAssist with route driving when necessary, ensuring timely deliveries and pickupsMaintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight movements, and vehicle maintenanceFollow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working environmentCollaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate freight movement and optimize yard operationsRequirementsValid CDL Class A license with a clean driving recordExperience 1-2 Years MinStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamStart time is 7 to 9pmYou should be proficient in:DOT Medical CardLoading and Unloading VehiclesCurrent CDL LicenseDOT & Equipment Inspection ComplianceSwitchertouch freightYard JockeyMachines & technologies you'll use:Tractor-Trailer
