Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Shift may include pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying 20–50 lbs.
• Non-traditional shifts and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Jockey trailers under supervisor direction and perform other duties as assigned.
• Complete required vehicle checks for jockey truck and forklift (if applicable)
• Move trailers between lot and dock doors and reposition loads as needed
• Install/remove trailer stands and follow site safety rules
• Review BOLs, certify outbound loads, wrap pallets, and process paperwork in NIS (or hand to supervisor)

Quick Look

• Pay: $24.50 per hour
• Location: JACKSONVILLE, FL
• Work Days: Sunday-Wednesday
• Start Time: 4am
• End Time: 4pm

Move and stage trailers safely and efficiently to keep the yard and docks running on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Jockey trailers under direction of the supervisor/foreman and perform other assigned duties
• Prepare for the day by completing required vehicle checks (VCR) for the jockey truck and forklift (if applicable)
• Move trailers from the lot to dock doors and back to the lot as directed; reposition raw material loads to doors as needed
• Install and remove trailer stands as necessary and follow all site and safety rules
• When loading is needed: review BOLs, complete final certification for outbound loads, wrap partial pallets, and process paperwork in NIS (or turn in to the supervisor)

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid U.S. Drivers License
• Valid CDL { } License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position may in include pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying between 20 and 50 lbs. throughout the shift (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires non-traditional shifts and weekend work
