Responsibilities

• Jockey trailers under supervisor/foreman direction
• Complete required vehicle checks (VCR) for jockey truck and forklift
• Move trailers between lot and dock doors as directed; reposition loads as needed
• Install/remove trailer stands and follow safety rules
• Review BOLs, certify outbound loads, wrap pallets, and process paperwork in NIS

Quick Look

• Work Days:No Sundays, rotating shifts, Monday-Saturday 5/8hr days

• Start Time: Varies: 7:00 am, 3:00 pm or 11:00 pm

• End Time: End time varies, based on business needs and until work is completed

Move and stage trailers safely and efficiently to keep the yard and docks running on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Jockey trailers under direction of the supervisor/foreman and perform other assigned duties
• Prepare for the day by completing required vehicle checks (VCR) for the jockey truck and forklift (if applicable)
• Move trailers from the lot to dock doors and back to the lot as directed; reposition raw material loads to doors as needed
• Install and remove trailer stands as necessary and follow all site and safety rules
• When loading is needed: review BOLs, complete final certification for outbound loads, wrap partial pallets, and process paperwork in NIS (or turn in to the supervisor)

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. Drivers License
• Valid CDL { } License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position may in include pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying between 20 and 50 lbs. throughout the shift (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires non-traditional shifts and weekend work
