Job summary

Reyes Holdings is seeking a Yard Jockey to load straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks and assist with pallet building and unloading. The role requires keeping hand trucks and tow motors charged and ready for drivers, and ensuring all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer before leaving the dock.

Tasks include warehouse cleanliness and product replenishment. The position also involves staying flexible for any shift, with 4-day, 12-hour shifts, and complying with safety and background

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during loading.
• Assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
• Ensure hand trucks and tow motors are charged and ready for drivers; verify mule on trailer prior to departure.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and yard; assist with replenishment of product.

Join Our Team!

• Must be available for any shift (4 day, 12hr shifts)

Position responsibilities:

• The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto truck during the loading process


• You will assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells


• This role ensures that the hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in their respective places for drivers as well as all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock


• The Yard Jockey maintains general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with replenishment of product in the warehouse


• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old


• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience


• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license


• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
