Job summary

Reyes Holdings is seeking a Yard Jockey in Roanoke, Texas to support loading and unloading at the dock, prepare pallets, and ensure equipment readiness for drivers. Must be able to lift up to 170 pounds and handle 25–50 lb items regularly, with a valid CDL permit to CDL license progression.

Shifts are 4 days of 12 hours, with a focus on safety, organization, and timely pallet movement. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience.
• Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.

Responsibilities

• The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto truck during the loading process.
• You will assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
• This role ensures that the hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in their respective places for drivers as well as all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock.
• The Yard Jockey maintains general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with replenishment of product in the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned
