Job summary

Frank Donio, Inc. in Hammonton, NJ is seeking an experienced Yard Jockey with CDL-A to join our food products distribution team. This full-time role offers hourly pay between $24 and $25 and requires operating a hydraulic yard tractor and ensuring compliant, safe yard operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean CDL-A license, a current medical card, and pass DOT pre-employment testing.
• Experience operating a hydraulic yard tractor is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily company documentation, including Yard Activity Sheets, Vehicle Inspection Reports, Fueling Activity Sheets, and other applicable records.
• Inspect yard equipment and trailers before and during moves to ensure they are safe and ready for operation. This includes checking that units are operational, maintaining proper temperature settings, verifying fuel levels, inspecting tires, and ensuring required equipment and restraints are present.
• Wash out trailers as required to maintain a clean and sanitary loading environment.
• Follow all company GMPs, food safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and other applicable company policies.
• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, functionality, and proper operating condition of the yardtruck and related equipment.
• Assist with tracking, monitoring, and recording storage trailer inventory.
• Maintain a clean and orderly yard and facility and promptly address or report housekeeping and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor the yard for safety, security, or unauthorized activity and report significant concerns to management.
• When primary yard duties are complete, assist other departments as directed, including Dock Operations and forklift-related activities when qualified and authorized.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Frank Donio, Inc., a South Jersey produce distributor, has an opening for a Yard Jockey CDL A driver.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

QualificationsJob Requirements
