SA Recycling is seeking a dynamic Inspector Supervisor to oversee yard operations in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will guide yard personnel, inspect materials from suppliers, and ensure efficient truck flow while upholding safety standards and quality control across shifts.

The role requires overseeing production levels, coordinating labor coverage, and training staff using various communication methods.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical, physical, and drug test.
• Background check and credit check required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage yard activities and coordinate with drivers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily yard activities and supervise yard personnel.
• Inspect materials received from suppliers.
• Monitor and guide truck traffic flow.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety programs.
• Train employees through various methods and shift briefings.
• Provide client services in person or by phone to ensure new materials are purchased daily.
• Resolve conflicts and negotiate with workers and clients professionally.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard; ensure proper waste handling.
