Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift or other powered equipment to transport, load, unload, stack, and organize products and materials. This role involves using radio frequency (RF) equipment for picking, receiving, and storage as needed. The operator must ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additional production-related tasks may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move products.
2. Load and unload shipments efficiently.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, including upkeep of equipment and materials.
4. Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures.
5. Pick and prepare orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.
6. Stack and store products in designated areas while optimizing space.
7. Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
8. Utilize RF scanning devices as needed for inventory tracking.
9. Verify accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments.
10. Maintain proper inventory rotation and ensure all stock is appropriately labeled.
11. Assist with inventory counts and receiving processes.
