Summary

Operates industrial trucks or other conveyance equipment within and between departments, buildings, and yard areas. Collects and delivers materials, including in-process and finished products, and supplies designated work areas.

Essential Functions

• Loads/unloads inbound and outbound trucks and distributes materials as directed.
• Operates the truck and lifting apparatus using levers and pedals.
• Positions forks, lifting platforms, or hooks to move loads to designated areas.
• Inventories materials and supplies workers with needed materials.
• Weighs materials and records weights on tags or schedules.
• Performs pre-operational checks, recharges batteries, and replaces liquefied gas tanks.
