Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a full-time Yard Hostler for the second shift at our Distribution Center in Midway, Kentucky. The Yard Hostler is responsible for safely staging trailers at assigned loading/unloading doors and ensuring good communication with supervision. Qualified candidates must have a proven ability to maneuver trailers, maintain good attendance, and pass safety training. Qualifications

• Must have no history of revocations for unsatisfactory driving.
• Ability to pass DOT Drug and Alcohol screening.
• Must be able to pass Lakeshore safety training.

Responsibilities

• Staging trailers to their assigned loading/unloading doors.
• Maintaining communication with supervision throughout the shift.
• Cleaning and sweeping trailers as needed/instructed.
