Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a Security Guard for our Midway, KY distribution center. You will protect people, property, and cargo across shifts, patrol facilities on foot and by vehicle, and enforce safety procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of security, loss prevention, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to observe, document, and communicate findings accurately and promptly.
• Proficient with computer systems and digital tools to log activity and assets.
• Able to patrol on foot and by vehicle for extended periods in a large distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Track and audit cargo trailers using the yard management system.
• Patrol the warehouse, yard, and perimeter to detect trespassing or unsafe conditions.
• Monitor CCTV and report unusual activity or access issues to supervisor.
• Verify visitor identities and manage check-in per policy.
