Staffmark is hiring two experienced Non-CDL Yard Hostlers for overnight shifts in Cleveland, OH. This seasonal full-time/part-time role offers weekly pay, home daily, and opportunities across the week based on driver availability.

You will safely operate yard hostler equipment, shuttle trailers, couple/uncouple, perform inspections, and follow safety procedures; high school diploma preferred and 6 months yard experience required.

Qualifikationen

• 6 months of verifiable yard hostling experience in the past 3 years.
• Experience operating a yard goat or similar equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong backing and trailer maneuvering skills.

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour
Schedule:

• Seasonal Assignment – Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities
• Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Overnight Shift)
• Coverage Needed: 7 Days Per Week
• Weekday and weekend opportunities – Flexible scheduling based on driver availability and operational needs

What You Will Do

As a Yard Hostler you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while safely operating a vehicle.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, or secure freight and materials when required by the assignment.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and work safely in varying weather and road conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous professional driving, delivery, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, delivery trucks, box trucks, or tractor-trailers is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS navigation, routing software, or transportation documentation is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to safety are well positioned for success as a Yard Hostler.
