Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a forklift operator to support yard operations at our North Carolina facility. The role involves operating forklifts, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring timely customer service while maintaining a clean, safe yard.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of forklift experience and strong customer service skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment
• Excellent customer service skills are required

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stacks materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
