Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is hiring a general yard worker in Lehigh Acres, FL. You will assemble orders, wrap pallets, and load them onto customer vehicles using a forklift. The role requires safe operation of equipment and strong teamwork.

Receive orders, move pallets, assist customers, perform basic forklift maintenance, and keep areas clean. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and forklift experience or certification; valid for internal program. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and related experience in trades or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer order slips from supervisor, gather correct products by hand or with forklift, assemble orders for customer, leave in designated spot for pick up
• Safely utilize forklift to move completed pallets to staging areas, or to load pallets onto vehicles
• Work directly with customers in a friendly, professional, positive manner to check orders
• Perform basic, routine maintenance to include recharging batteries; lubricating, fueling and cleaning forklift
• Make sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion in assigned area
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
