Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is seeking a general yard worker to assemble orders, wrap pallets, and load them onto customer vehicles using a forklift. The role requires safety awareness, the ability to read instructions, and a willingness to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include picking products, operating a forklift, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean work area. Training and certification are provided where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years of related experience or equivalent combination
• Must be able to pass internal certification program
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Ability to work independently and accurately with basic math

Responsibilities

• Receive orders from supervisor and gather products by hand or forklift
• Move pallets to staging areas or load onto vehicles
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Perform routine forklift maintenance and battery recharging
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Perform other duties as needed
