Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a general yard worker in Florida to assemble orders, wrap pallets, and load them onto customer vehicles using a forklift. You will be certified to operate a forklift and work in a fast-paced yard environment.

Responsibilities include receiving orders, moving pallets, assisting customers, and performing basic forklift maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with experience reading safety and maintenance manuals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass an internal certification program
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs

Responsibilities

• Receive customer order slips, gather products, and assemble orders for pickup
• Safely operate forklift to move pallets to staging areas or onto vehicles
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Perform routine forklift maintenance such as recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling and cleaning
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area
• Other duties as needed
