Job summary

JGM is seeking an experienced Industrial Forklift Operator to join our outdoor steel yard in Coatesville, PA. This role moves structural steel and heavy materials, operates large-capacity forklifts, and supports production in a fast-moving industrial environment.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime and optional Saturday shifts. Candidates should have 2+ years forklift experience, safety focus, and willingness to obtain OSHA 10 training if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years operating forklifts in heavy industrial settings.
• Experience moving oversized/long loads is strongly preferred.
• Must be safety-focused with good situational awareness.
• OSHA 10 training completed or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-capacity forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Move, stage, load, and unload structural steel and large materials.
• Do daily inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and yard teams to maintain flow.
• Load outbound trucks and unload deliveries.

Position OverviewJGM is hiring an experienced Industrial Forklift Operator to join our team at our heavy industrial steel fabrication facility in Coatesville, PA.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operating equipment, working hands-on, and being part of a fast-moving industrial operation. You’ll work in our outdoor steel yard moving structural steel and other heavy materials that keep production running.This is not a typical warehouse forklift position.
