Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing is seeking a hands-on Yard Manager in Los Angeles, CA to oversee yard operations, fleet maintenance, inventory, and job-site deliveries. This role requires a California Class A CDL and 3+ years in yard or fleet maintenance, with experience in transporting equipment and coordinating with project teams.

The position offers base salary up to $73,000 per year, plus medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO and holidays, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Valid California Class A CDL and driving record in good standing.
• 3+ years in yard operations, fleet or equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience maintaining vehicles, engines and landscape equipment.
• Experience operating trucks and trailers for deliveries.
• Experience with inventory, materials management, and yard operations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on small engines and equipment.
• Maintain mowers, skid steers, trenchers, irrigation gear and trailers.
• Inspect vehicles and plan preventive maintenance needs.
• Ensure yard, storage areas are organized, clean, and safe.
• Coordinate deliveries and equipment moves with project teams.
• Transport equipment between yard, nurseries, and sites in So. California.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep records.
