Job summary

United Site Services in Jurupa Valley, CA, is seeking an Equipment Specialist–Yard to perform fence maintenance, asset checks, and minor repairs to keep the yard and equipment in good working condition.

You will coordinate with supervision, operate a forklift for loading/unloading, and occasionally drive a delivery truck. A valid CDL or appropriate state license is required. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to present information one-on-one to customers and associates.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use units of currency, measurement, weight, and distance.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Valid Driver License (CDL A/B with endorsement or appropriate state class)

Responsibilities

• Check, repair, store fence, fence equipment and related assets.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Inform Supervisor of materials used daily.
• Report problems found on equipment to supervisor.
• Inventory checked and repaired before delivery and upon return.
• Conduct general facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading assets.
• Occasionally operate delivery truck as needed.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards/incidents.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
