Job summary

Satellite Shelters, Inc. is seeking a motivated Yard Supervisor to lead daily yard operations and support the Detroit-area branch project opening.

You will supervise yard staff and work alongside them to keep operations efficient and safe, coordinating personnel, equipment, and yard activities in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, accountability, and a hands-on leadership style, with duties spanning fleet coordination, repairs, and on-site collaboration

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience in construction, maintenance, or similar fields.
• Experience directing a team and following a plan is essential.
• Demonstrates technical capacity and ability to collaborate with teammates.
• Thoroughness and detail orientation are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily yard operations and supervise yard personnel.
• Direct tasks for cleaning, repair, delivery, and maintenance.
• Order parts and manage inventory per policy.
• Ensure units are repaired, prepared, and delivered to Satellite quality standards.
