Job summary

Brooks Construction Company, Inc. in Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeks a Yard and Facilities Coordinator to maintain the equipment yard, support shop operations, and ensure facilities are organized and safe.

You will handle parts, tools, and materials, assist with maintenance projects, and coordinate signage and deliveries for field crews. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years in related maintenance, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least four years in small engine, machine repair, or facilities maintenance.
• Construction or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Experience around heavy equipment preferred.
• Solid mechanical knowledge of small engines/ equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize the equipment yard, storage areas and buildings.
• Assist with maintenance and improvement projects at Brooks office and facility locations.
• Coordinate temporary Brooks1st signage on jobsites.
• Deliver supplies, small tools, and other materials to field crews as needed.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tools, and other materials as needed.
• Repairs and maintains small tools, including vibratory compactors, quickie saws, etc.
• Coordinate with shop management to identify and plan for purchase, disposal, rental, or outside service needs for small tools.
