QXO is seeking a Yard Associate in Fort Worth to support safe yard and warehouse operations. You will assist customers, prepare orders, receive and store materials, and help load shipments in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The role emphasizes dependability, safety, and excellent service, with opportunities to work with forklifts and coordinate with drivers and sales teams across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, delivery, or material handling roles.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work early mornings and extended hours.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, organize, and store building materials in yard and warehouse locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, deliveries, and transfers.
• Verify quantities and product accuracy before loading or shipment.
• Support inventory organization and material flow throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (training provided).
• Follow all equipment operating procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized yard, warehouse, and storage areas.
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with yard personnel, warehouse staff, drivers, sales teams, and management.
