Job summary

Chaney Enterprises is seeking an Equipment Operator — Retail to safely manage receipt, storage, and staging of raw materials for concrete production. You will operate front-end loaders, forklifts, and related equipment to load/unload deliveries and assist customer vehicles in the yard.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, front-end loaders, or similar machinery.
• Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Strong verbal communication with operations, dispatch, and customers.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal safety procedures.
• Capable of completing pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and organize raw materials in the yard for production.
• Operate loaders and forklifts safely per policy and regs.
• Load/unload deliveries and service customer vehicles promptly.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues.
• Maintain plant/yard cleanliness and environmental compliance.
• Assist with batching operations and related plant duties as directed.
• Support Dispatch with scheduling and material movement.
