Job summary

Chaney Enterprises is seeking an Area Production Manager/Operations Manager to oversee equipment operation at the Ready Mix plant and coordinate production flow. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and quality control within a fast-paced environment.

You will work with dispatch and plant staff to ensure timely material handling, maintain equipment, and uphold environmental and safety standards across outdoor yard operations.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly with management, dispatch, and drivers.
• Must be able to learn dispatch systems and company software.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around dust and chemicals.
• Capable of completing accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow environmental regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant and equipment regularly to ensure readiness.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Operate front-end loaders and yard vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document findings.
• Collect material samples and perform quality checks as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of plant and yard areas.
• Assist with batching operations and production support as needed.
