Job summary

Bobcat - GDN is seeking a motivated Yard Attendant in California. The role involves maintaining a tidy yard, operating equipment to load and unload materials, and conducting daily vehicle inspections.

You will deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone while coordinating with Sales, Service and Parts. Ideal candidates have a minimum high school diploma, 2+ years in equipment service operations, and familiarity with skid steers, excavators, and wheel loaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum H.S Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience in equipment service operations (preferred).
• Experience with construction equipment (skid steer, excavator, wheel loader) (preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and company systems.

Responsibilities

• Keep yard neat and orderly.
• Operate Bobcat and related equipment to load/unload materials from trucks/trailers.
• Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Provide superior customer service in person and by phone.
• Prepare and maintain a rent-ready fleet.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
