Job summary

British Car Auctions Ltd is seeking energetic Yard Drivers for our busy auction site. This is a part-time, permanent role with shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Saturday to Monday; or Sunday to Tuesday, all between 7am and 6pm. You’ll move vehicles, keep the yard orderly and help prepare cars for sale.

The role is outdoor and physically active; training is provided for jumping-starts and you’ll join a supportive team with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Happy working outdoors in all weather.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team player who’s ready to get stuck in.
• Able to follow instructions and work at pace.

Responsibilities

• Driving and moving a wide range of vehicles across the site.
• Keeping the yard organised and running efficiently.
• Jump starting vehicles when needed (full training provided!).
• Spotting any issues and reporting them to the team.
• Supporting other departments and getting involved wherever needed – no two days are the same.

Main purpose of the role
