Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Yard Driver to maintain yard organization, spot trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard, and update trailer moves using a handheld device. This role is non-CDL and requires careful attention to safety and yard operations.

The successful candidate will be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver's License and the ability to load/unload heavy items. They will report to the Operations Manager and work in a busy yard environment with exposure to noise and moving

Qualifications

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid, active Driver's License.
• Ability to load and unload heavy items.

Responsibilities

• 10% Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
• 80% Safely spotting trailers at dock doors and yard locations; Driving yard trucks and spotting at designated locations.
• 10% Yard Auditing; Ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System.

Skills

Valid Driver's License

21 years of age or older

Ability to load/unload heavy items

Education

High School Diploma or GED
