Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Yard Driver to organize the yard and safely spot trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. CDL licensed Yard Drivers may move trailers to offsite locations and neighboring distribution centers, updating trailer moves via a handheld device.

This role requires loading/unloading heavy items, a valid CDL, and being at least 21 years old. Travel between locations is required; work occurs in a yard environment with occasional exposure to dust and odors.

Qualifications

• CDL license and related driving requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• 10% Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
• 80% Drive yard trucks, inspect yard equipment, and spot trailers at dock doors and designated locations.
• 10% Ensure yard accuracy using the Yard Management System.
