Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Yard Driver to keep the yard organized and to safely spot trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. This role requires operating yard trucks and updating trailer moves via a hand-held device, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will perform general warehouse tasks and participate in yard auditing to ensure accuracy. The position reports to the Operations Manager and typically requires 21+ and a valid driver’s license. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to load and unload heavy items.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Safely spotting trailers at dock doors and yard locations; driving yard trucks and spotting at designated locations.
• Yard auditing to ensure yard accuracy using the Yard Management System.
