Job summary

PFG Customized is seeking a Yard Driver, Non-CDL, to move tractor trailers on company property, load docks, and parking areas. The role involves safe movement of trailers and interacting with customers and coworkers in a professional manner.

The position requires maneuvering 48' trailers, meeting DOT regulations, and lifting or using equipment to handle freight up to 90 pounds. Schedule is Sunday–Thursday, starting at 12pm, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to maneuver 48' trailers safely.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
• Load 48' semi-trailer using PMHE.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
