Job summary

Tyson Foods in Sherman, TX is seeking a Yard Driver (Non CDL) for all shifts at our Case Ready Distribution site. You will spot and pull trailers, ensure nose stands, chocks, seal integrity, and uphold safety while moving equipment on Tyson property.

You must meet minimum requirements and follow all PBX Shag Procedures. Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing and walking; the role calls for a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and clear communication with management.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clear MVR.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Must follow operational procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Spot and pull trailers in and out of dock doors and ensure nose stands and chocks.
• Monitor temperatures, fuel levels, and refrigeration units for product protection.
• Seal finished loads and maintain seal integrity while trailer is on Tyson property.
• Wash and sanitize outbound trailers; maintain clean, debris-free yard.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any defects to supervisor.
