Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard trucks to move trailers and containers within the yard.
• Spot trailers at docks or storage areas according to schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE in the yard.
• Maintain clear communication with yard supervisors and drivers.
• Record and document trailer movements and incidents accurately.
• Assist with basic yard maintenance such as fueling and greasing.
• Help organize yard layout to optimize space and operations.
