Xpress Global Systems, Inc. is seeking a dependable Yard Driver / Hostler II in Tracy, CA. This role focuses on moving tractors and trailers within the yard, positioning equipment at dock doors, staging trailers, and supporting daily yard operations.

Expected work schedule Monday through Friday with a 3PM start, and a pay rate of $25.53 per hour. The position emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and efficient yard management.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A license is required.
• Minimum 24 months experience as a yard driver.
• You must be at least 23 years old.
• Simple hiring process will apply.

Responsibilities

• Move tractors and trailers within the yard to designated dock doors, staging areas and parking locations.
• Perform yard checks to ensure trailers are properly positioned and secured.
• Conduct pre- and post-move inspections of yard equipment and report issues.
• Communicate with warehouse and operations staff to prioritize trailer moves.
• Maintain yard organization and assist with overall yard flow.
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and DOT regulations.
• Keep yard areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
