Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring a Yard Driver, Non-CDL in Kentucky. You will move tractor trailers to/from loading docks, park trailers, and support the yard with safe driving and DOT-compliant routines.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a clean Class C license, and a minimum of 6 months steady work history. We offer a competitive benefits package and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months steady work history
• Clean Class C Driver experience
• Internal candidates may be promoted with less than 6 months experience with good performance record in accordance with driver training program requirements.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
