Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. | Carter LOGISTEED Logistics, LLC. is hiring for a Yard Driver/Forklift Operator in a crossdock operation. You will operate a sit-down forklift, unload inbound freight, scan items, and assist with trailer loading in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior warehouse/forklift experience preferred, and a willingness to work as part of a team. 2nd shift with occasional weekend requirements applies.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Able to operate sit-down forklift and follow safety rules.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit down forklift and unload inbound freight.
• Scan freight into the system and label material.
• Notify supervisor of any overage, shortage, or damage.
• Load outbound trailers and move trailers in dock area.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain yard locations and place wheel chocks as needed.
• Work Monday–Friday with possible weekend rotation.
