Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. in Florence, SC is seeking a yard tractor operator to move trailers and support inbound/outbound operations on a 1st shift schedule. The role reports to the Inbound Area Manager and works on-site daily at the Florence Fulfillment Center.

You will manage trailer flow, update manifests, and coordinate yard activities while ensuring safety and compliance. Benefits include health care from day 1, 401(k), PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience operating yard tractors or similar equipment.
• Safely maneuver trailers in a yard and dock environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport and position trailers to support inbound and outbound operations.
• Manage trailer flow and documentation, including updating trailer status in systems.
• Monitor loading activity and perform load audit procedures.
• Coordinate yard activities: meet drivers, dispatch trailers, schedule moves.
• Support repairs, fueling, yard organization, and priority responsiveness.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

• Transport and position trailers to support inbound and outbound operations, moving units between yard locations and dock doors according to the established daily schedule.
• Manage trailer flow and documentation, including updating trailer status in Scan‑Data/TMS, recording load start/end times, and ensuring accurate manifest processing.
• Monitor loading activity and complete manual load audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate yard activities, including meeting drivers, dispatching trailers, scheduling moves, and completing required paperwork.
• Support operational continuity by coordinating repairs and fueling with external vendors, maintaining yard organization, and responding to priority needs as they arise.
