Job summary

QVC Group in Florence, SC is seeking an on-site Yard Operator to move trailers, manage yard flow, and maintain accurate dock documentation. You will support inbound and outbound operations and report to the Inbound Area Manager, working Sunday through Wednesday on the 1st shift.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of yard tractor operation experience. Relocation is not available; benefits and a strong total rewards package are offered.

• Safely maneuver trailers in a yard and dock environment

Responsibilities

• Transport and position trailers to support inbound and outbound operations, moving units between yard locations and dock doors according to the established daily schedule.
• Manage trailer flow and documentation, including updating trailer status in Scan‑Data/TMS, recording load start/end times, and ensuring accurate manifest processing.
• Monitor loading activity and complete manual load audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate yard activities, including meeting drivers, dispatching trailers, scheduling moves, and completing required paperwork.
• Support operational continuity by coordinating repairs and fueling with external vendors, maintaining yard organization, and responding to priority needs as they arise.

Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Area Manager, you will move trailers to support our Inbound and Outbound operations in the yard observing the established daily schedule. 1st shift (Sunday - Wednesday 6:00am - 4:45pm)

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
