Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in Austin, TX is seeking a Part Time Yard Crewmember to assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.

You will greet customers, load materials, answer questions, perform forklift safety checks, and help maintain the yard and warehouse while following safety guidelines and participating in meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to load and unload materials safely.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the yard.
• Load and unload products safely for customers, vendors, and company vehicles.
• Answer questions about products.
• Stock, move, and rearrange materials in yard and warehouse.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of yard and warehouses.
• Verify tickets match loaded merchandise.
• Cut lumber and related materials per customer requests.
• Attend store meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
