Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in Waco, TX is seeking a part-time Yard Crewmember/Forklift Operator. You will assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.

You will greet customers, load and unload merchandise, respond to product questions, and help maintain a safe, orderly yard and warehouse environment while following all safety procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training; levels 1 and 2 of positional training.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the yard.
• Load and unload products into customers, vendors, and company vehicles safely and accurately.
• Answer customer questions regarding products and store layout.
• Move, stock, and rearrange building materials in yard and warehouse.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks per company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of yard and warehouses.
