Job summary

Walstrom Marine, Inc. is seeking a Yard Crew member for our Algonac Harbour Club location. This on-site role supports boat launching, haul-out operations, transporting boats and supplies, and maintaining the yard and fleet year-round.

Marine experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus but not required. This position offers steady hours, local travel, and opportunities for career growth within our family-owned marine group.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boat launching and haul-out operations during spring and fall.
• Support transportation of boats, trailers, and supplies to properties and events.

• Pick up or deliver supplies to support service and yard operations.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and organization and perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Walstrom Marine is looking for a Yard Crew member to join our Algonac Harbour Club team! While marine experience is a plus, we are happy to train individuals with a strong work ethic and the right skill set. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with boat launching and haul-out operations, particularly during the spring and fall seasons.
• Support the transportation of boats, trailers, and supplies to customer properties, Walstrom Marine locations, and events such as boat shows.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of company fleet and yard equipment throughout the year.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed to support service and yard operations.
• Support yard cleanliness and organization and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous experience in marine and/or service environments preferred. A valid driver's licence is required for this position. A CDL is preferred but not required.

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required during summer months
