Job summary

Walstrom Marine in Traverse City, MI, is hiring a Yard Crew member to support boat launches, haul-outs, and yard operations with on-site work year-round. No prior boating experience required; strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are valued, with training provided.

You'll assist with transportation of boats and equipment, maintain yard cleanliness, and join a team that promotes growth, safety, and customer service while supporting events and locations across Northern Michigan.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in marine and/or service environments preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
• A CDL is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boat launching and haul-out operations, particularly during the spring and fall seasons.
• Support the transportation of boats, trailers, and supplies to customer properties, Walstrom Marine locations, and events such as boat shows.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of company fleet and yard equipment throughout the year.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed to support service and yard operations.
• Support yard cleanliness and organization and perform other duties as assigned.

While marine experience is a plus, we are happy to train individuals with a strong work ethic and the right skill set. Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required during summer months

- This is an in-person, on site position based out of ourTraverse City location.
