Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Gorham, ME is seeking a Full-Time Yard Attendant to join our team. You will operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move building materials in the yard, assist customers, and help keep the yard organized and safe.

This position requires the ability to lift heavy loads regularly, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to provide friendly, hands-on service at our busy lumber yard.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Candidate should have a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload and store materials in the yard.
• Provide customer service to customers in the yard.
• Position requires heavy lifting on a regular basis.
