Wallenius Wilhelmsen group is seeking vehicle accessory installers in Los Angeles, CA. You will install aftermarket parts such as lighted running boards, kick plates, decals, and other customer-specified upgrades.

The role requires hands-on tool use, ability to read instructions, and flexibility to work overtime. You will join a unionrepresented team with competitive benefits and safety-focused policies.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, drills, fasteners and basic automotive electrical systems.
• Current valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to follow detailed written installation instructions.
• Willingness to walk and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb up to 15 feet.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Working for Wallenius Wilhelmsen, a premier logistics partner to auto and heavy equipment manufacturers, you'll:

• Install accessories on vehicles such as:




• Lighted running boards, illuminated kick plates, step-rails, splash guards, decals, electrical and other accessories specified by the customer

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, drills, fastener and basic automotive electrical systems to accurately install vehicle accessories


• A current valid driver's license and good driving record


• The ability to follow detailed written instructions for accessory installation


• A willingness to walk and stand for much of your day


• Flexibility to work overtime as needed


• Ability to work in various weather conditions


• Physical ability:




• Frequent lifts and carrying of up to 50 pounds for distances of 50 feet, including overhead lifting


• Climbing to and working at heights of up to 15 feet


• Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to fasten, insert, and remove bolts, machine parts and pins, operate and withstand impact, vibration of electric and air-powered power tools

This position is represented by Teamsters Local 495. Compensation and benefits are provided in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Starting pay for this position: $32.77 per hour.
