About The Team
We conduct hundreds of live auctions annually worldwide. Our team includes equipment inspectors, yard managers, operators, administrative staff, and customer service representatives, all working together for successful multi-million dollar auctions.

Job Description
At IAA, Yard Attendants work outdoors, are detail-oriented, quick, and often passionate about cars. Safety is a priority, but efficiency and smooth operations are equally important. This role involves learning new technologies and being at the forefront of auction tools and resources.

A Day In The Life

• Vehicle check-in: recording and filing vehicle information
• Thoroughly cleaning vehicles to enhance auction value (training provided)
• Operating passenger vehicles safely within the facility
• Recovering keys, license plates, and storing them properly
• Assisting visitors and providing guidance
• Training in forklift and loader operation

Responsibilities

All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The role involves physical demands, including lifting and outdoor work in all weather conditions. An upbeat attitude and knowledge about cars or mechanical skills are preferred. Teamwork is essential.

Preferred experience includes automotive repair, rental, or construction industries.

Physical Demands

• Using safety procedures and PPE
• Recognizing hazards and responding appropriately
• Applying safety regulations for hazardous materials
• Lifting up to 20 lbs constantly, up to 50 lbs frequently, and over 100 lbs occasionally
• Reaching, handling, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and crawling
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions
